Abstract

The theoretically derived formulas for the interband absorption spectra in amorphous semiconductors are analyzed. It is shown that the proportionality coefficient and the energy width of the mobility gap of these spectra can be found using experimentally determined interband absorption spectra. It was determined that with a decrease in the amount of selenium in an amorphous selenium-sulfur compound, the energy width of the mobility gap increases.
