Abstract

A new species Microtrombidium saharanpuri collected from the infested house fly is described. Larva is bright red in colour and measures 0.42 to 0.58 mm in length and 0,19 to 0 40 mm in width. Scutum is spindle shaped and equipped with two sensillae setae only. Caudal setae (post anal) are the longest.
